Health Classes
Lay persons and health professionals alike are
encouraged to take advantage of the many programs and services
offered by the Mercy Health Education Center. The Center offers a
comfortable environment that is conducive to learning, with:
- Spacious classrooms
- A cozy reception area
- A comfortable and comprehensive Wellness
Library housing a public-access computer with several
health-related software programs and internet access, consumer -
as well as academic-level books, medical journals, videos, health
pamphlets, magazines, and more (many available in
Spanish)
- Kitchens with available beverages and
snacks
- Access for the disabled, and
more!
For the general public, the Education Center
offers monthly disease-management classes, wellness promotion
classes, and support groups, most of them free of charge,
including:

The Education Center also offers a
comprehensive childbirth program, taught by BEST and LAMAZE
certified instructors. Our classes are free of charge for anyone
delivering at Mercy. A $20 deposit is returned at the completion of
the class.

The Education Center is also the community
