Bindu Chandran, MD
I am from the beautiful state of Kerala in India. After graduating from Sree Siddhartha Medical College in Karnataka I worked in the pathology department for a year and a half before coming to the US with my husband, Bimal, an engineer, in 2003. For the past five years we have been living in San Jose. I enjoy listening to music, traveling and most of all spending time with my husband and two children -41/2 year old Shrini and 7week old Gayathri.
Eric W. Dunlop, DO
I’m originally from Modesto, California. I went to UCLA for my undergraduate education, where I was involved in various activities such as research in the field of evolutionary biology and drumming in the UCLA marching band. I attended medical school at Touro University in Vallejo, California, and did my clinical rotations throughout central California, including Bakersfield, Modesto, Stockton, and Santa Maria. Some of my hobbies outside of medicine are music, drumming, skiing, basketball, running, chess, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Stefan Elazier, M.D.
I was born and raised in Northern California and graduated from U.C. Berkeley. After college, I stayed in the Bay Area and worked at various jobs, including conducting clinical research for the Kaiser Foundation Research Institute in Oakland, CA. During that time, I became interest in pursuing medicine as a career. I attended medical school at Tufts University in Boston, MA. Outside of work, my interests include drumming, watching and playing soccer and football and reading
Mila E. Cheshani, MD
I was born and raised in Iran. I attended Tehran Azad university Medical school and moved to United States after completing service status under the sponsorship of Iran ministry of health where I managed a health care clinic in a rural setting for two years. Along with coordinating medical unit function, I facilitated and supervised course for employees serving the underprivileged residents of several villages. After my arrival in the U.S. in 2003, in order to familiarize myself with the American health system, I worked for one year in an Internal Medicine private practice in Florida and another practice in Atlanta, GA. I have also gained hands-on clinical experience supervised by GMC group in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Family Medicine. I also completed one month sun-internship in university of Washington in Seattle. In my leisure time, I enjoy aerobic exercise, playing tennis, reading, watching moves, traveling and spending time with friends and colleagues.

Shankar P. Ghimire, MD
I was born and raised in the beautiful Himalayan country Nepal. I did my medical school at Nepal Medical College, Nepal. After graduation, I worked in the General Practice and Casualty Department for a period of one year and then joined Forensic Medicine Department to teach the medical students for six months because of my interest in teaching. I moved to USA in the search of higher education and got the opportunity to get some US clinical experience in Culver City, CA before joining to Mercy Medical Center Merced.
Kim M. Hartwig, MD
I was born and raised in California in the Bay Area. I began my medical career by attending De La Salle University in the Philippines were I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and I continued on and received my medical degree at the University of Perpetual Help, College of Medicine in the Philippines. After graduation I returned home to the Bay Area were I have worked as an RN in a Medical/Surgical/ oncology unit, taught at Kaplan Medical and was a assistant administer at a Residential Care Home. My favorite pass time is spending time with my twin boys, watching movies, cooking, and taking long walks. I also enjoy reading and listening to music.
