Merced is located only 2 hours from the entrance to Yosemite National Park, which offers scenic views, hiking and the granduer of Yosemite Valley. Other popular local activities include saliing on Lake Yosemite or watersports at one of the 5 regional lakes. There are tons of adventures to enjoy just outside of Merced too. We're within driving distance of the beach or mountains, where you can ski, surf and sightsee. Merced residents often take quick getaways to the California Coast, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe.
