Here are a few quick facts about us: 174 licensed beds, more than 1,100 employees, and 144 active medical staff. Mercy Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). We've served Merced and the surrounding communities for over 100 years. We are currently building a new hospital to replace our current facility. At full build-out, the medical center will have 425 beds. The first phase, with a 185 bed patient tower, will be open in early 2010.
