Infusion Overview
The Infusion Center offers a welcoming and comfortable alternative to receiving infusion services as an inpatient. Our experienced registered nurses specialize in intravenous therapy and will closely monitor the patient’s therapy while reviewing health information, answering questions and providing healing support. Patients who are well enough to receive their infusions in an outpatient setting may watch TV, listen to music, read books or magazines, or just relax in a comfortable recliner.
Infusion services offered include: • Blood product transfusions • Intravenous antibiotics • Hydration therapy • Injection services • Remicade, Humara, Embril therapy • Reclast, Orencia, Zometa therapy • Iron infusions • Tysabri * certified site • Bone marrow aspirations • PICC line insertion and care • Thoracentesis • Paracentesis • Lumbar puncture
