Specialized Nursing Unit
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized nursing unit for patients who require close observation, frequent assessments and clinical monitoring. It is a 20-bed unit that serves Medical/Surgical patients with life threatening or critical illnesses.
Services available in this unit include continuous cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia detection and interventions, respiratory support with mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, dialysis and computerized monitoring technology.
Our highly skilled staff are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. Due to the demand of care for CCU patients, we dedicate one nurse to every two patients.
