Mercy Home Care provides health services and medical supplies to patients requiring skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, medical social services and personal care in the privacy and comfort of their homes. Care may also be provided to the terminally ill. Every effort is made to restore or maintain the patient at their highest level of health, function and comfort.

Mercy Home Care offers nursing services 7 days a week, while therapy and other services are available Monday through Friday. After-hours on-call nursing services are available to those patients who have an urgent need. Services are provided in Merced County and Northern Mariposa County.

Our highly competent and specialty-trained staff has an average of 10 years in providing services to the home care population. Additional specialty services are available for infusion therapy, cancer care and wound care. A certified enterstomal wound care nurse specialist is available semi-weekly.

Licensed by the State of California, Medicare-certified and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, Mercy Home Care can decrease and even prevent costly hospital stays. Services are covered by Medicare, MediCal and private insurance, whether HMO or PPO. Each patient's care needs are reviewed prior to providing care to determine that insurance coverage requirements are being met.
